TWO COVERED DECKS

Morning coffee tastes better in the mountains.
Bucky & Doe Doe’s Place gives you two covered decks with comfortable outdoor furniture and Adirondack chairs, so there are plenty of places to sit back and enjoy the wooded mountain setting.

Keep your eyes open, too. Deer are frequent visitors throughout Coosawattee River Resort and around the cabin. We’ve even provided a little corn for guests who enjoy watching them visit.

It’s one of those simple mountain experiences kids — and plenty of adults — tend to remember.

Surrounded by the peaceful mountain setting, it’s the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day.

Head downstairs for a little friendly competition in the private game room.

amenities include:

• Swimming pools
• Coosawattee River access

• Game and recreation areas

Spend the morning at the river. Go fishing. Challenge the family to pickleball. Take the kids to the pool or arcade.

EXPLORE ELLIJAY

When you’re ready to venture outside the resort, you’ll have easy access to everything that makes Ellijay one of North Georgia’s favorite mountain destinations.

Explore Downtown Ellijay’s restaurants and shops, visit local wineries, hike the surrounding mountains, or spend a day visiting the area’s famous apple orchards.
Carters Lake is approximately 18 miles away and offers boating, fishing, hiking, and beautiful mountain scenery.

During apple season, you’re also right in the heart of one of North Georgia’s best fall destinations.

EVENINGS IN THE MOUNTAINS

After the day’s adventures, come home and slow things down.

Soak in the hot tub. Watch the deer. Grill dinner. Play a game.

Then bring your own firewood, light the outdoor firepit, and make some s’mores beneath the North Georgia sky.

Sometimes those end up being the best moments of the entire trip.
