Note: Fresh Hot Tub Water for Every Stay
For your comfort and peace of mind, we drain, clean, sanitize, and refill the hot tub between every guest stay. Because fresh water takes time to heat, guests arriving earlier in the day may find the hot tub is still warming and may not reach its full temperature until later that evening or the following morning. We believe starting each stay with freshly sanitized water is worth the extra time.

Relax in our peaceful, scenic setting and take in the beautiful mountain views. The spacious deck offers a wonderful place to connect with nature and truly unwind. A Weber Propane grill to cook your meals and eat under the stars.

Cherry Log Community

Mt. Ridge Retreat offers an authentic mountain experience. This is a peaceful, private mountain property-ideal for couples looking to unwind.

With that comes a few realities of nature: one-lane gravel mountain roads, wildlife nearby, and occasional power or internet interruptions, especially during storms.

All of the above issues are rare but part of rural mountain life. 🌲🪾🐞

Roads are well-maintained, but an AWD vehicle is helpful during rainy or winter months. It is optimal to arrive (at least the first day) in daylight hours.

You're just a short drive from Blue Ridge's shops, trails, waterfalls, and wineries, yet it feels like a world away. (~5 miles)
Ellijay has a cute downtown, and it is ~12 miles, taking a right out of the Cherry Log Community.

Our place is small & cozy, perfect for a couple and one well-behaved pooch.

The bedroom is Upstairs. Please be aware if you have trouble navigating stairs.
